Cost: $297/Month (until Oct 1,2020)
Cost: $349/Month (after Oct 1,2020)
* Membership Includes all of OAKmoor Academy’s On & Off Ice Skills, Access to scheduled weight room and shooting room times, FREE Public Skates, and FREE Stick and Pucks
Academy will be available 4 days a week Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, and Controlled gameplay.

WHAT TO EXPECT…
ON ICE Skill INSTRUCTION:
60 minutes of individual skill work, incorporating variations of shooting, skating, passing, stickhandling.
Shooting: Focusing on shooting technique, power, speed, quickness, and accuracy.
Stickhandling: Focusing on controlling the puck.
Edge Work: Transitions, crossovers, tight turns
Small Area & Sports Games: Utilizing diverse motor skills, you will improve overall athleticism.
Daily on-ice practice skill focus is as follows:
Monday – Power Skating
Tuesday – Stickhandling & Shooting
Wednesday – Edgework & Foot Speed
Thursday – Passing & shooting
Video Hockey IQ CONDITIONING:
Hours of repetition to push each player outside of their comfort zone. We use modern advanced techniques combined with video and continuous feedback strategies to see instant results that is transferred over to the gameplay. We aim to be organic and innovative using real-time video analysis, visual learning concepts, motorized learned behaviors and integrate modern techniques to maximize player development advancements. The option to break down game tape is also available throughout the winter year.
Reaction time – with the focus on scoring (rebound, deflection, tipping, shooting one-timers), passing (passing agility drills)
Decision-making – drills that force quick decisions under various conditions
Timing, movement, and anticipation – training of break out passes, dynamic passing situations
Hockey IQ – reading open lanes, keep away, power-play situations
Multitasking – focusing on the distribution of the brainpower – decision making in parallel agility activities
STRENGTH AND CONDITIONING:
SPEED – Acceleration, Deceleration, Linear and Lateral Movement Techniques, Running Mechanics, Footwork.
EXPLOSIVE POWER –Olympic Lifting, Plyometrics, Med Ball Training, Jumping & Landing Techniques.
STRENGTH – Functional Approach, Thorough Instruction, Focus on Upper Body, Lower Body & Core.
CONDITIONING – Game Ready Preparation for all Athletes.
FLEXIBILITY – Myofascial Release (Foam Rolling), Various Forms of Stretching, Muscle Activation.
INJURY REDUCTION – Identify & Correct Muscular Imbalances, Balance & Stabilization.
NUTRITION EDUCATION – Lessons, Tips, and Advice.
OFF-ICE TRAINING:
OFF Ice Shooting: Focusing on shooting technique, power, speed, quickness, and accuracy.
OFF Ice Stickhandling: Focusing on controlling the puck.
OFF Ice Edge Work: Transitions, crossovers, tight turns
Sports Games: Utilizing diverse motor skills, you will improve overall athleticism.
